KNIGHTS LANDING, Yolo County — October 28, 2026. In addition to statewide and county contests, Knights Landing voters have a local special-district decision on the November 3 General Election ballot. According to the Yolo County Elections Office’s official candidate filings, two candidates are qualified for one short-term director seat on the Knights Landing Community Services District.
Who is listed on the ballot?
- Teresa Guerrero — qualified candidate for the short-term director seat.
- Donald Gonzales — qualified candidate for the same short-term director seat.
The county’s filing list says Vote for One. It lists both candidates without a ballot designation in that table. This article makes no judgment about either candidate, does not report unsupported positions or endorsements and does not predict a winner.
What is a community services district?
A community services district is a special-purpose local government entity that provides services authorized by its governing laws and formation documents. It is separate from the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and city governments. Residents interested in the exact duties of this district should consult the district’s public records rather than assume every CSD handles the same services.
How to check the race and results
Review the Yolo County Elections official Special Districts candidate list for the short-term seat. Consult the elections office for a sample ballot for your voting precinct, the current election schedule and the county’s official results portal on or after Election Night.
California58 will not label the outcome final until the appropriate election authority certifies the election. Preliminary vote totals, if reported, must be attributed to the election office and timestamped.
